Pur Pain launches Daisy Bread ahead of party season

Belgian organic bakery De Trog Bakery has brought its new Daisy Bread SKU to the UK ahead of the Christmas party season, with an initial launch offer of 20% via CLF during starting on 1 November and running throughout the month.

Designed as a striking table centrepiece, perfect for sharing among friends and family, the artisanal Daisy Bread is comprised of seven individual organic rolls — each one baked together in a flower-shaped cluster, ready to tear-and-share at any occasion.

A favourite in the household of Hendrik Durnez, the carbon neutral bakery’s owner, Daisy Bread is' ‘ideal for a Sunday family brunch or a festive dinner table’.

Made with white pistolet dough — a typical Belgian variety commonly used in bread making — the rolls have a soft internal texture and a crusty exterior. They’re finished with the aromatic scent of roasted cereals and various crispy toppings, including pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds and sesame seeds.

As with other Pur Pain products, Daisy Bread is part-baked for the consumer to finish off at home; the brand recommends six to seven minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C.

Ready-to-eat rolls

Launching alongside Daisy Bread are Pur Pain’s Sesame Seed Sandwich Rolls — both vegan and organic, presented as a three-pack.

Turmeric lends a light yellow colour to the oval rolls, which are ready for consumption and topped with sesame and nigella seeds.
